I love Monsal Dale but had never spotted or heard of this fort.

Fin Cop is a hill and associated Iron Age hill fort in Monsal Dale. Recent excavations have unearthed a mass burial containing only women and children, the first such segregated burial in Iron AgeBritain

This Old House Hanging

These chunky little wall hangings by Karina are made from reclaimed old floor boards and would be at home in either an old cottage or a modern house.

“I had a lovely old skirting board taken out of my old cottage when we revealed the original stone fireplace and I just had to find a good use for it. I am a home bird and love drawing the little houses so it will be nice for them to end up back in a nice home & be admired” …Karina
